Blogs report that the iOS 6 beta 4 is lacking an app that Apple has not changed these couple of years, the YouTube app! At the original iPhone release, the idea for a native YouTube app is for the reason some people prefer the Android: flash support. iPhone only support HTML 5. Well, things have changed, now most of YouTube’s videos are HTML 5 coded, so an iDevice will easily play it with no hassle, so the native YouTube app is no longer necessary. But maybe something else will replace it. An apple TV like streaming service? A possibility.
Those who uses YouTube a lot, don't fear. You can always use the YouTube mobile website, and rumor has it Google is working on a separate app for YouTube. Google creating an app by itself can have its advantages and disadvantages. For one, Google can monitor and adding new features to the YouTube app, providing a better (or worse) experience. Yet Google can also add in those annoying ads we all hate(right?).
