Reports claimed that a new Samsung Galaxy Note II will be shown at the IFA 2012, the same event where Samsung have unveiled the previous Note. IFA is held in August-September, in Berlin, Germany. According to MK news, who spoke to someone close to the development, said that the new Samsung Galaxy Note II will feature impressive specs, and is lined to compete with Apple's own iPhone 5, which will be likely to be released at October.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note will feature a 5.5 inch super AMOLED display, along with a new 12 or 13 MP camera, Samsung's own Exynos quad core, and a lightning fast 2GB of RAM. Similar to the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S3, featuring a larger screen yet maintaing it's original size, the new Samsung Galaxy Note II should be slimmer than the previous generation.
