The Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM Lens is a notably updated version of Canon's popular 100mm Macro lens. In its latest incarnation, the 100mm f/2.8L Macro joins Canon's esteemed L-series, and as such is held to a higher level of resolving power, overall construction, and weatherproofing. Other improvements found on the EF 100mm f/2.8L include Optical Image Stabilization with up to 4-stops of shake control, and a refined Ultrasonic Motor (USM) for quicker and quieter auto-focusing with full-time manual override.

Optional extension tubes can increase this ratio for even greater magnification As a Canon L-series optic, the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM Lens can be counted among the sharpest, best-built, weatherproof optics available for Canon EOS SLR cameras By incorporating a new Ultrasonic Motor, Canon has improved the speed and reduced the noise levels of the lens's autofocus system, while still allowing for full-time manual override When used with a Canon APS-C sensor DSLR, the lens offers a 35mm equivalent focal length of 160mm

Macro 100mm f/2.8 L IS USM
Saya baru dua minggu memiliki lensa ini, saya pakai dengan EOS 60D hasilnya luar biasa tajam, dan bokehnya mantap sekali. Hasil foto saya jadi seperti fotografer profesional......... Sangat saya rekomendasikan untuk yang suka foto makro dan atau model, dijamin bagus.......

lensa ini untuk macro saya gunakan dgn eos 7D luar biasa tajam... untuk foto model tajam dan bokeh luar biasa.. takkan menyesal beli lensa ini..

Lensa andalan multiguna untuk portrait dan makro
Saya menukar lensa Canon 100mm F2,8 USM dengan lensa Canon 100mm F2,8 L IS Macro. Lensa ini mempunyai ketajaman yang "dahsyat" untuk foto model/portrait terutama dibawah jarak pemotretan 3 meter, bokehnya bagus dan halus. Fitur IS nya sangat membantu dalam situasi low light. Reproduksi warnanya maknyuss...Saya menggunakan kamera full frame. Dan ini merupakan lensa favorit saya, selalu ada didalam tas kamera...
