Berharap lebih dari angka 2010
Produk yang saya miliki masih merupakan versi Technical Preview walaupun sudah pernah menjajal versi full (versi Professional) di laptop rekan saya. Saya tidak menemukan perbedaan yang sangat signifikan antara versi Technical Preview (TP) maupun full release, karena kebiasaan menyusun laporan kegiatan pada aplikasi Word dan Excel tidak mengalami hambatan apa-apa baik pada versi TP maupun full, juga termasuk pembuatan presentasi pada PowerPoint. Memang ada sedikit perubahan dari Microsoft Office 2007 Professional yang selama ini saya pakai, namun kembali lagi saya merasa perubahan itu hanya sekedar pada visualisasi yang lebih flat dan elegan. Bayangan saya pada awal isu MS Office 2010 akan keluar adalah bahwa produk ini mampu menyaingi kemampuan iWork milik Apple, walaupun dalam kenyataanya saya merasa "feel" MS Office 2010 sedikit berbau iWork juga dari sisi interface. Semoga angka 2010 bisa memuaskan saya.
